Even Madonna Drinks Iced Coffee
Here is the impossibly fit and muscular Madonna, walking with iced coffee on Monday of this week.

Candids Jennifer
Why does Jennifer Love Hewitt look so glum in photos these days, I wonder… perhaps she is unhappy at being photographed these days because of her weight gain.

She is still cute, but looks to be putting on more weight.

Tiny Longoria
If I had to guess Eva Longoria’s weight, I’d say she weighs under 100 pounds for sure. She is so tiny!

What do you all think - is she too thin? I think her weight works for her somehow. Not everyone can pull off being so small and still look really good.

Getting Feet Ready for Summer. A Look at Profoot, Lac-hydrin Five, Skin Actives Scientific, and Dr. Scholl's
I have been using a combination of moisturizers: One is Profoot Care Heel Rescue Superior Moisturizing Foot Cream. I initially got a sample of this cream in the Beauty Buyble Book and Samples and really like it. It does a good job of penetrating the very dry skin and smoothing things out. It also is quite affordable. A related product that I haven't tried, but am interested in is the Profoot Care Heel Rescue, Intensive Overnight Foot Repair.
Right now, I generally use the Profoot in the morning. At night, I use a lactic acid product to both moisturize and help remove the calluses. My long time favorite for this is Lac-hydrin Five Moisturizing Lotion. Lac-hydrin does an excellent job when it comes to moisturizing. With a good amount of lactic acid, it also helps exfoliate very dry skin pretty well.
After I rub a good amount of Lac-hydrin into my calluses, I have been following it up with a coating of Skin Actives Scientific foot mask. Skin Actives is a great site/company for purchasing individual active ingredients and they have an active forum where information and recipes can be found. I will write more about their products in the future. I have been enjoying the foot mask and find that it adds quite a bit to my callus killing routine. It is a rather thick, and slightly oily moisturizing concoction that I find bumps up the level of softening of my dry skin. Unfortunately, Skin Actives appears to have stopped actively selling their foot mask, although anyone interested can likely find a recipe for it in their forums. A recent email newsletter from them also mentioned that it would remain available as a forum special there.
Once I have my feet pretty well gooped up, I slip on a pair of socks and leave them on until everything absorbs into my skin. Something I would love to get are the Bliss Softening Socks, but I haven't quite been able to bring myself to splurge on them. So for now plain old socks have to do.
After all that moisture, it becomes time to exfoliate. So, during my morning shower, I have been working on the calluses with a Dr. Scholl's Callus Reducer. It is quite comfortable to use and works very well. I was actually surprised at how little effort it takes and how quickly it gets rid of the built up dry skin.
After only two weeks I have managed to get rid of almost all of my calluses. The few tough remnants are coming along as well. My feet should be good in another week or so. I figure if this process is working for my horrible feet, it will work for anyone!

Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner
After trying out blue mascara and liking it, I had a brief obsession with finding a good navy eyeliner. I thought it would be simple to run out and pick one up at any nearby store. Boy was I wrong! When I looked for one at Kohls from their Flirt line, they were sold out. Then I went to Walgreens, and couldn't find one there either. The various lines either didn't have a dark blue or were out of it! I saw lots of very light blue, but I didn't want that.
Finally, I found two different shades that I liked at CVS. In the process, I discovered an all around great eyeliner regardless of the shade! Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner applies effortlessly. There is no tugging, and while it blends and smudges very well, it didn't do so until I tried to smudge it. This makes it ideal for getting either a sharp look or a smudged one. The pencil has a smudge tip on one end that works quite well. It is very well pigmented and it stayed on all day for me with no fading. I love it!
I purchased mine in both blackened sapphire and brushed pewter. The sapphire is a dark blue, while the pewter is more of grey with a blue/silver tone to it. It costs a bit more than some other drugstore brands, but I think it is well worth it.

I recently stopped by the Bobbi Brown counter and checked out her Makeup Facelift. Let me tell you, the key to the facelift is the bright bright blush. Sure, it goes on a little strong and it takes some time to get used to but it instantly wakes up your face and makes you look alive and well. The key to pulling it off, as told to me by the makeup artist, is to dust a tiny bit on the bridge of your nose too - this makes the blush look more natural rather than if you only put it on the apples of your cheeks. I tried the rest of the line as well but to me, it was the blush that made the most difference.
Using the blush really does give you a full Bobbi Brown makeover. All the makeup artists were wearing a nice bright colour and it's the signature Bobbi Brown look for this season. Check it out for yourself and you'll see what the difference is.
Also, I'd like to say that the experience that I have at that counter is always amazing. The makeup artists are so friendly, they know what they're doing, and they never ever pressure you into buying a product. If you go in there for just one thing, then they'll help you find it instead of distracting you with the newest extras that you may not need. The Bobbi Brown counter is the one I'd recommend to anyone who wants a makeover or a makeup lesson. Keep that in mind if you're going back-to-school or looking to refresh your makeup bag.
