Even Madonna Drinks Iced Coffee
Here is the impossibly fit and muscular Madonna, walking with iced coffee on Monday of this week.

Candids Jennifer
Why does Jennifer Love Hewitt look so glum in photos these days, I wonder… perhaps she is unhappy at being photographed these days because of her weight gain.

She is still cute, but looks to be putting on more weight.

Tiny Longoria
If I had to guess Eva Longoria’s weight, I’d say she weighs under 100 pounds for sure. She is so tiny!

What do you all think - is she too thin? I think her weight works for her somehow. Not everyone can pull off being so small and still look really good.

Getting Feet Ready for Summer. A Look at Profoot, Lac-hydrin Five, Skin Actives Scientific, and Dr. Scholl's
I have been using a combination of moisturizers: One is Profoot Care Heel Rescue Superior Moisturizing Foot Cream. I initially got a sample of this cream in the Beauty Buyble Book and Samples and really like it. It does a good job of penetrating the very dry skin and smoothing things out. It also is quite affordable. A related product that I haven't tried, but am interested in is the Profoot Care Heel Rescue, Intensive Overnight Foot Repair.
Right now, I generally use the Profoot in the morning. At night, I use a lactic acid product to both moisturize and help remove the calluses. My long time favorite for this is Lac-hydrin Five Moisturizing Lotion. Lac-hydrin does an excellent job when it comes to moisturizing. With a good amount of lactic acid, it also helps exfoliate very dry skin pretty well.
After I rub a good amount of Lac-hydrin into my calluses, I have been following it up with a coating of Skin Actives Scientific foot mask. Skin Actives is a great site/company for purchasing individual active ingredients and they have an active forum where information and recipes can be found. I will write more about their products in the future. I have been enjoying the foot mask and find that it adds quite a bit to my callus killing routine. It is a rather thick, and slightly oily moisturizing concoction that I find bumps up the level of softening of my dry skin. Unfortunately, Skin Actives appears to have stopped actively selling their foot mask, although anyone interested can likely find a recipe for it in their forums. A recent email newsletter from them also mentioned that it would remain available as a forum special there.
Once I have my feet pretty well gooped up, I slip on a pair of socks and leave them on until everything absorbs into my skin. Something I would love to get are the Bliss Softening Socks, but I haven't quite been able to bring myself to splurge on them. So for now plain old socks have to do.
After all that moisture, it becomes time to exfoliate. So, during my morning shower, I have been working on the calluses with a Dr. Scholl's Callus Reducer. It is quite comfortable to use and works very well. I was actually surprised at how little effort it takes and how quickly it gets rid of the built up dry skin.
After only two weeks I have managed to get rid of almost all of my calluses. The few tough remnants are coming along as well. My feet should be good in another week or so. I figure if this process is working for my horrible feet, it will work for anyone!

Get M.A.C Cometics Tips: Chat With Hip-Hop Recording Artist Eve and Her Makeup Artist JJ

M.A.C Cosmetics recently released its C-Shock Collection; an 80's inspired collection of "brazenly bright" colors that I have been having some fun playing with. Look for more on that early next week, when I will give details on how this shockingly bright line of colors can be used to create some really fun looks, even for a forty-year-old and cosmetically conservative person such as myself! Right now, I want to share an announcement from M.A.C related to the line that is pretty darn cool!

Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner
After trying out blue mascara and liking it, I had a brief obsession with finding a good navy eyeliner. I thought it would be simple to run out and pick one up at any nearby store. Boy was I wrong! When I looked for one at Kohls from their Flirt line, they were sold out. Then I went to Walgreens, and couldn't find one there either. The various lines either didn't have a dark blue or were out of it! I saw lots of very light blue, but I didn't want that.
Finally, I found two different shades that I liked at CVS. In the process, I discovered an all around great eyeliner regardless of the shade! Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner applies effortlessly. There is no tugging, and while it blends and smudges very well, it didn't do so until I tried to smudge it. This makes it ideal for getting either a sharp look or a smudged one. The pencil has a smudge tip on one end that works quite well. It is very well pigmented and it stayed on all day for me with no fading. I love it!
I purchased mine in both blackened sapphire and brushed pewter. The sapphire is a dark blue, while the pewter is more of grey with a blue/silver tone to it. It costs a bit more than some other drugstore brands, but I think it is well worth it.

I recently stopped by the Bobbi Brown counter and checked out her Makeup Facelift. Let me tell you, the key to the facelift is the bright bright blush. Sure, it goes on a little strong and it takes some time to get used to but it instantly wakes up your face and makes you look alive and well. The key to pulling it off, as told to me by the makeup artist, is to dust a tiny bit on the bridge of your nose too - this makes the blush look more natural rather than if you only put it on the apples of your cheeks. I tried the rest of the line as well but to me, it was the blush that made the most difference.
Using the blush really does give you a full Bobbi Brown makeover. All the makeup artists were wearing a nice bright colour and it's the signature Bobbi Brown look for this season. Check it out for yourself and you'll see what the difference is.
Also, I'd like to say that the experience that I have at that counter is always amazing. The makeup artists are so friendly, they know what they're doing, and they never ever pressure you into buying a product. If you go in there for just one thing, then they'll help you find it instead of distracting you with the newest extras that you may not need. The Bobbi Brown counter is the one I'd recommend to anyone who wants a makeover or a makeup lesson. Keep that in mind if you're going back-to-school or looking to refresh your makeup bag.

MARC JACOBS AT HIGH STREET PRICES...
Retail sales on the High Street may be looking a little slack at the moment....that's probably because Marc Jacobs is selling fabulous metallic quilt tote bags for £24 and £32 pounds. Yes. You read this correctly. I was 2 seconds early for a lunch with a High Street Retailer at Scott's last week, so popped into Marc Jacobs. And yes. I bought a gold quilt tote bag for £24. Rushed into lunch. Apologised to the Retialer..."Sorry, but I was shopping!"..."What did you buy?" ..."Look Marc Jacobs for £24...got to go back for the larger one for £32 after lunch!"....So, there you have it. A Marc Jacobs bag from the Mount Street Marc Jacobs shop for £24. I read a while back that in order to counteract against the masses of Marc Jacobs rip-offs out there the designer decicded to add some cheaper pieces to his range. Hence the bags, the men's wellies for £4 (!), and t-shirts for 20 odd pound or so (can't remember exact price as I was so happy with my bags). So it was really a very good thing that I was 2 seconds late for lunch.

...SHE WHO LAUGHS LAST....
...Laughs the proudest and the loudest. Could it be that silver clouds really do have diamond linings. Katie Holmes Cruise with a a POB. And those high heel platform shoes as
beach wear? Kimberely Stewart in her YSL Tributes? Say what you want, but imitation is the greatest form of flattery. And flattered is what Posh should be. Though any flatter would be a problem. Could it just be as, I mentioned a few blogs back that Posh is actually having a little bit of a influence on the girls of La-La land. In L.A. it's column inches that speak loudest. Even louder than inches off one's already tiny waist. And the way to inch into those inches is with That Extra Half Inch...a la Posh.
The height of her heels have been gaining more newspaper mileage than Paris Hilton's recent conversion to whatever it is that Paris has converted to whilst doing the jailhouse rock.
LA is after all the flip-flop-lollipop-head land of fashion and as much as critics have been deriding Posh for her over-the-top numbers, well, maybe just maybe she is leaving a little of her pouting gloss behind. Hmmm, let's see, this is a tough conundrum:......as a young female celeb is it better to get slammed for wearing too many key looks and for trying too hard, than to get slammed for being in the slammer for drinking too much, partying too much, etc, etc.?? Exactly. But if David Beckham was my husband, I still wouldn't willingly lead him to the female feeding frenzy of LA...that's very ooohh-La-La...

Feminist-izing one of the world's most well-known luxury hotel brands can't be an easy feat, but
“As with fashion and design, which are as unique and personal as one’s individual style, W is incorporating influences of our favorite female icons to create a world that excites the senses and delights our guests,” said Ross Klein, President of Starwood’s Luxury Brands Group.
The hotel's ongoing women-centric initiative includes plans to enlist leading women of fashion and design to create the industry’s first signature female-designed bathrooms (due in 2008).

This week, five New York women help Serena illustrate the 10 rules for matching fast fashion with high-end designers. Anne, a trend forecaster for Limited Brands, for instance, is wearing a $34.50 dress from H&M, but she pairs it with $395 Miu Miu sandals and a $785 Goyard tote. The quality and simplicity of the inexpensive dress — it's not a pattern that will go out of style in two months — is key. It doesn't look like high/low — it just looks chic. And Anne, who gets to travel for her job, offers an 11th rule: Shop around when you can. "Always check out fast-fashion stores in other cites; the merchandise can vary from place to place, and the racks will be less picked over than the New York stores."

Strange Love
In March when People Mag asked Russell about what he thought of sometimes-wife Kimora's relationship with Djimon Hounsou he said, "He's a wonderful guy, a very sweet guy. I want her to be happy no matter what."
And, he's not lying. He's giving Djimon his wife and his clothes.
Notice the Ganesh t-shirt Djimon has on while hitting Kitson with Kimora - it's from Phat Farm's Atman collection that debuted on the Baby Phat runway in February and hits stores this fall.

Well the ladies at Balmshell have taken that idea and morphed it into a lip gloss. Lip goop on one end, plastic diorama on the other. Best part? It's kind of eco-friendly cuz the floaty action-packed part of it screws off and attaches to a keychain after you're all done with the gloss.

High fashion aided by plastic surgery: The Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery shaped for fashion breast reduction procedure
Breast reduction surgery has the potential to greatly improve quality of life. For people with overly large breasts, the symptoms of neck pain, back pain, headaches, and limitations on activity often can be instantly alleviated by breast reduction surgery. Now, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon has unveiled a novel approach to this procedure.
Among plastic surgery procedures, breast reduction is especially challenging. The three dimensional nature of the breasts, combined with the need to change their position and shape in addition to size, makes breast reduction surgery a complex undertaking. Dr. Lloyd Krieger, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and medical director of Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery √ the first and only plastic surgery center on the world-famous street — notes, ⌠We have found that people coming for breast reduction surgery are seeking to improve not only their appearance but their overall lifestyle. They want to look better and feel better. They want to be more active. They want to wear elegant clothes that have previously been off limits to them.
To meet his patients’ goals, Dr. Krieger looked to his neighbors on Rodeo Drive. "We worked with these boutique managers and style makers to better understand the types of body shapes that best fit into fashionable clothing. In each breast reduction procedure, we not only address breast size, but also their shape and position. This way, the final breasts after our Los Angeles breast reduction match the body to create a harmonious overall shape," Dr. Krieger explains.
Dr. Krieger concludes, "Our goal for Beverly Hills breast reduction is to create the size and shape that will allow our patients to look good, feel comfortable, and give the widest options for wearing all types of fashionable clothing. Our Rodeo Drive Shaped for Fashion Breast ReductionTM goes beyond simply reducing the size of the breasts."
Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery and its medical director Dr. Lloyd Krieger have been featured in the local, national, and international media. Some recent stories have appeared on Access Hollywood, Elle, Star, InTouch Weekly, Life & Style, Maxim, The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Daily News, The Washington Times, KTLA Morning News, Univision, Telemundo, France's Télévision Française 1, Japan's Chocolat Siene magazine, Mexico City's Reforma magazine, Denmark's Q magazine, Sweden's AftonBladet newspaper, New Zealand's Flipside magazine, and England's Daily Mail newspaper and Grazia magazine.
The Rodeo Drive Experience: Dr. Krieger has worked hard to create a positive experience as patients undergo the Rodeo Drive Shaped for Fashion Breast ReductionTM. His Beverly Hills plastic surgery center is the only one on ultra-glamorous Rodeo Drive. The deluxe facility creates a relaxed setting of unusual style and elegance. The ultra-modern on-site surgery center is fully certified by the federal government through its Medicare program to maximize comfort and safety. The staff also make things convenient for out of town patients (about 35% of their practice) with their Rodeo

But then I thought it would be cool to wear micro-shorts underneath all the long, tunic tops I had. You know the tops that kind of cover your butt but not really if you move? I didn't want to wear leggings underneath because that's a way too 80's-bicycle-shorts thing to do. So instead of skinny jeans, I thought shorts would be a fun, refreshing alternative for summer, provided they're low/mid-waisted. Last summer I tried this look (long top over tiny shorts like Nicole Richie here) with a skirt because I wasn't bothered to find shorts. But with shorts everywhere now, it's definitely time to get a pair!
Lindsay Lohan is so rocking the shorts here.
And Hilary Duff looks so pretty and summery here with that girly top and micro black shorts. I love how her outfit is looks so casual but still pretty and put-together. (Plus, notice the matching baby blue camisole underneath and the Miu Miu Mary Janes.)
So onto my search for the perfect micro-shorts. I origianlly only wanted a black pair, but the Kate Moss denim shorts had a really great wash and design so I couldn't resist trying them on.
But after I finally got those four buttons buttoned (they look cool but oh-so-annoying to put on,) I realised how seriously short they were. I mean, I would like to move around in them and I just didn't feel comfortable. Not to mention we must remember that Kate Moss looks cool in them for obvious reasons.
Then I tried on these Top Shop shorts, but the back pockets were just really ugly.
I love this pair by the Top Shop Kate Moss line -love the row of buttons along the sides (which you can't really see in the photo). Unfortunately, the Oxford Circus shop ran out of Size 8's and the sizes run big for this design. I'm obviously fated not to own them. Daniela at 12:29 AM
Kate Beckinsale showed up to the UK premiere of Die Hard 4.0 looking like her usual ridiculous self. Ridiculously ugly that is! That face, that body. I mean c'mon, it's like she's not even trying. She looks like she's completely covered in hair! And what is that, a banana? Hmm, wait, I think I was looking at the monkey issue of Zoo Books on accident. Let me pull up the right pictures. Oh, yeah, she looks stunning here.

Looks, and Bronzers, Can Be Deceiving
See this compact over here?Looks like a regular old bronzer now, doesn't it? But what you can't tell from the photo is that it's actually a massively oversized pan intended for use on the body, and it has a secret...
It's scented.
This is the Smashbox Fusion Bronzing Body Powder Set (it comes with the kabuki brush shown), three stripes of glimmering bronze perfection. And they all carry the same heavenly gardenia-amber scent as their predecessor, Smashbox Body Lights Glowing Lotion.
While this bronzer is absolutely gorgeous on its own, and looks quite fetching dusted across shoulders and legs, what really slays me is that scent. It's very similar to Monyette Paris, making it a perfect layering companion for summer nights.
And if you don't believe me, this exact scent combo drew compliments from the founder of Bond No. 9 when I wore it to an event last year. Can't argue with the expert, right?
Just make sure you don't accidentally bronze your nose when you stick your face into the compact, obsessively, trying to get yet another whiff of that dreamy scent!

Eddie Murphy is officially the father

A rep for Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown has confirmed that a DNA test shows Eddie Murphy is officially the father of her 2-month-old daughter. A source close to Brown says, "He's the baby's father, it's official. The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his. There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."
Well sucks for Eddie. Not only does he officially have a daughter he doesn't want, but the entire world now knows he had sex with this thing. Pictures could surface of him making out with a horse and it'd be less shameful.

Paris Hilton's NBC interview canceled

NBC has canceled their $1 million interview with Paris Hilton, most likely from the pressure of the entire world calling them ass clowns. No official reason was given, but NBC is backtracking and saying they never sealed the deal on the interview to begin with, so there was nothing really there to cancel. Clearly they're just trying to cover their asses now. They obviously wanted the interview and were willing to pay $1 million for it, and then the internet exploded with anger and they backed down. Own up to it, NBC. Like the time I caught you masturbating to pictures of your sister. Just admit it, man. It's not that bad. She's hot, I get it. Oh, wait, you actually did? Gross, dude, I'm telling your mom.

"More chins. I need more chins!"
Britney Spears was spotted at Petco yesterday buying herself a new pet parakeet. Which is a great idea, because if Britney Spears needs anything, it's more responsibility in her life. According to an imaginary witness I made up, as she was leaving, Britney was spotted rubbing her hands together and saying, "This is going to be delicious!"
NOTE: Didn't Britney used to have kids? I'm pretty sure they're in a cage somewhere, waving a sippy cup back and forth along the bars and singing the blues.

Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller was spotted in a bikini for some random photo shoot on the beach. And in case you're wondering, Marisa Miller in a bikini is 100% the absolute most important news ever. The moon landing? Yeah, that was pretty important I guess, but compared to this it might as well have been about the time I had cereal for breakfast.
EDIT: Moved this up. I'd much rather look at this all weekend than Britney Spears trying to buy a bird in her pajamas.
